As its name suggests, DTS Equip is designed to equip YWAM/U of N staff to create and lead YWAM Discipleship Training Schools, including both lecture and outreach phases, in alignment with the apostolic vision, foundational values, purpose, outcomes, curriculum, and guidelines of the DTS. In addition, It includes outcomes for both DTS leadership and personal spiritual formation for the individual leader and discipler. This makes it suitable for leaders of any level, for any YWAM/UofN school. Participants can expect to grow in their own discipleship, their skills in discipling others, how to create training programs, leadership skills, all while actively collaborating and networking with other leaders.
DTS Equip consists of six, full learning weeks. The Equip Curriculum and format provides opportunities for participants to learn, lead out, and teach, both as individuals and in teams. The course is also highly applicable for other (non-DTS) YWAM/UofN leaders and staff in terms of leadership development, discipling skills, and YWAM foundational training. It can be adapted internally to cater to teams of staff/leaders, leading various UofN schools.
As a registered seminar, it can - under the right circumstances - also host people who have not completed a DTS but desire to grow in biblical discipleship and leadership skills.
