COLLEGE OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
SCHOOL OF PROPHETIC AND WORSHIP (CHR 272)
Prerequisites: Disci0pleship Training School and Field Assignment
Crédits: 11 - 12
The purpose of this course is to bring an understanding of the Prophetic as we lay Biblical Foundations. We would like to train people to understand the foundations of the prophetic as well as how to walk daily into the prophetic by displaying the character, nature and power of God. The prophetic opens up the way for divine revelations. The teaching weeks will take the students to a deeper understanding and study of the ministry, character, and nature of the prophetic ministry of the prophets in the Bible, as well as Jesus' prophetic ministry. We aim to facilitate growth in hearing God's voice and learning how to better understand the move and the flow of the Holy Spirit, understanding the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and practicing them. We will cultivate a culture where the ministry is the overflow of a heart moved by compassion and we will learn together to be dependent in the Holy Spirit as we abide in Jesus and do what we see the Father doing, to speak what we hear the Father speaking, and go only where we see the Father going. We will learn altogether how to become one with God in His Glory, John 17:22, and how to be moved by His compassion and love as we reach out to the lost and serve in His Kingdom. Alongside the prophetic, we will be focused on teaching and equipping the students in Worshipping in Spirit and Truth and in the prophetic worship where heaven invades earth. Rekindling a worship that builds up altars of praises and creates room for the move of Holy Spirit.
