MATERNAL HEALTH MINISTRY FIELD ASSIGNMENT (HLC 274)

This is the field assignment for the Maternal Health Educators course. Students will receive foundations for how to use maternal health as a ministry, and how to effectively communicate as maternal health educators. They will learn from leaders, healthcare workers and professionals in this field. Students will be trained as doulas and childbirth educators, learn trauma informed care, pregnancy ministry models and build a solid foundation for midwifery and birth work. During this field assignment, they will be given opportunities to practice these skill sets.
