NARRATIVE WRITING SEMINAR (CMC 177)

In this seminar, students are introduced to a narrative approach to writing. Whether they are writing an epic fantasy or operatic sci-fi, or working on a gripping biography or sweeping period piece they will gain a biblical perspective on how to craft a story and live as an author. Some topics they will study are the Three Act Structure, the Hero's Journey, and how to build an Author Brand. Acting as both seminar and retreat there will also be times of ministry and encouragement in their calling as Storytellers and that precious time to actually write.
