This course introduces students to the biblical foundational concepts of family life; presents a model for the study and understanding of the dynamics of family life; and introduces basic tools for ministry to families. Students can anticipate a challenge to grow and develop Christian character traits. Students will increase their competence in ministering to families. This course offers students basic examination of the biblical foundations of family life, basic models for understanding family systems and dynamics, and essential tools for impactful family ministry. On a foundational level, it critically analyzes contemporary worldviews on family, explores God's design for the family, and teaches biblical principles for fostering strong, resilient families.
