The heart of the DBS is discipleship through God’s Word in Spirit & Truth. In this three month Bible course, students are equipped with tools for in-depth personal Bible study.
The course encompasses a dynamic teaching experience which includes: lectures, small groups, one on ones and homework that focuses on practical application of Scripture. The goal is for students to be transformed by the Word, prepared to use their Biblical foundation for evangelism through sharing God’s Story and practicing discipleship through leading inductive Bible studies.
Every afternoon we have a time reading aloud Scripture in small groups : So in the DBS with a couple hours of daily reading it is possible to read through all of the Bible .
At the end of the 11 weeks students will also be able to do a 45 minute oral overview presentation of the bible.
This course also meets the U of N Core Curriculum requirement for Bible if you choose to persue a UofN degree.
