Purpose & Leadership Development (accredited as the Certificate IV in Christian Missions). The heart of this internship is to equip staff to be effective missionaries, and more specifically, to be effective YWAMers, to understand our DNA as a mission and to be equipped for their calling and destiny in missions. Like all YWAM schools, the Purpose & Leadership Development includes character development and modelling Jesus in lifestyle and ministry. Students are equipped to work effectively in teams, participate in evangelism, develop an effective support base, understand the context and history of missions and how they personally fit into the missions context and community, and to develop specific ministry skills needed for their call and destiny in missions specifically in seeing the nations discipled.
