MATERNAL HEALTH MINISTRY PRACTICUM (HLC 275)
Prerequisites: HLC 273 & 274
Creditos: 8 - 12
This practicum is for students who have completed the Maternal Health Educators lecture phase (HLC 273) and field assignment (HLC 274) and wish to gain more experience. Students will have the opportunity to practice and gain confidence in the skills they have learned. The students and staff will be serving the local community in multiple ways, providing various expressions of maternal healthcare. Students will be mentored and supported as they practically serve as well as gain knowledge through classroom time.
