The School of Filmmaking is a 12-week program designed to equip students with a solid foundation in filmmaking within a discipleship context.
Students receive both lecture instruction and hands-on workshop experience in camera, sound, lighting, screenwriting, directing, production, and more. During production weeks, they create and direct their own short films, developing material suitable for their first demo reel.
The heart of the school is to train Christians to be salt and light in the film industry. This involves two main focuses:
(1) Preparing students to be a Christlike witness on professional film sets—trained with excellence in both craft and character.
(2) Equipping them to create meaningful, impactful stories that inspire and bring positive change to the world.
Completion of a DTS is a prerequisite for this course.
