The DBS is a 12-week core Curriculum program, with the UofN that takes participants through scripture from Gen to Rev. DBS brings understanding about God and the history of the people of God , through studying the word of God. We want to bring clear understanding that the bible is more more then just a story , but it is God`s redemtive plan for humanity , how God keeps reaching toward men so men can be in a right relations with God . Never forget that this is the story of Jesus through his death and resurrection put people in right staning with God , Discipleship is a very importent part of the school , we want to see transformation in the lives of the student through the study of Gods word .One of the ways that we see transformation is through community , we learn together, we read together ,we study together and we do life together 12 different speakers for the 12 weeks of topics 1. Origins and worldview 2. Pentateuch 3. Trible week 4. David week 5.Kings week 6. Early Prophets 7. Late Prophets 8. Post Exilic week 9. Jesus week 10. Church week 11. Paul week 12. John week During the 12 weeks we after class: we have class homework including small groups and work duty: Every day there is a 2 hour reading : So in DBS with 2 hours of reading it is possible to read through all of scripture in 12 weeks . The at the end of the 12 weeks students will be able to do a presentation of the bible overview in 45 minutes In small groups student will be presenting a Inductive bible study . And class worship and intersession and community worship and intersession
