The Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS) is a five to six-month, full-time Christian training program that blends classroom learning, small group activities, personal reflection, practical service, and community living. The training is divided into two courses: the lecture course and the field assignment course.During the lecture course, your focus will be on knowing God, His Word, and His world. You will seek transformation, a renewed mind, and personal growth through lessons from teachers, community living, and practical training. In the field assignment course, your class will break into teams to serve God out in the world. You will have the opportunity to discover your abilities as you care for people and share the good news of Jesus. The DTS is designed to help you discover your passions and your part in God’s purposes for the world. DTS is required to serve in YWAM globally and the prerequisite for most other courses in the University of the Nations.
