This educational facilitator certificate program is designed to equip trainers to mentor and disciple teachers into both a biblical world view and basic skills needed to teach and manage a classroom. The course includes a two week leadership training seminar, designed to both familiarize trainers with the contents of the teacher training, and equip them to mentor the teachers into a biblical world view and the implications of practical skills in the classroom. Trainers then help to lead the initial two week seminar of module one, a biblical world view of education, for the teachers. They continue to help the field leader lead the sessions which comprise modules two-five throughout the school year. This includes developing their own facilitation skills, leading classroom and small group discussions. In addition, they will review and comment on the homework submitted by individual teachers, meet with individual teachers throughout the training program, and provide regular on-site observation. The trainers will meet regularly throughout the program with the field leader to continue to develop their own skills and understanding. They will describe the work they are doing to develop the teachers, both to allow the field leader to maintain understanding of the overall progress of the class as well as to monitor the work of the training team.
