This is the first in a series of three courses that make up the School of Biblical Studies (SBS). This course sequence surveys the whole Bible using the inductive approach (observation, interpretation and application). This course may serve as a core course in all bachelor's degree programmes. This course meets the U of N Core Curriculum requirement for Bible.
This course is a continuation of the School of Biblical Studies, using the inductive approach to study James, I and II Peter, Jude, I, II and III John, the Gospel of John, Revelation, and Genesis through 2 Samuel.
This course is a 14 week (for 12 credits) continuation of the School of Biblical Studies II, using the inductive approach to study 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon and all the prophets.
A four-week seminar (counting for 3 credits due to our 'time extension' of the course) similar to the first three weeks of CHR 213, School of Biblical Studies. Credit may not be received for both the CHR 113 seminar and CHR 213.
