1. The main goal of the CBCC is to teach students of the importance of the Bible in their personal lives as well as in their ministry. Giving them knowledge and skills to understand the Bible and apply it in a practical way. 2. They will have an overview of the Bible in a chronological order, going from the Old Testament to the New Testament. In this overview they’ll also have a good historical background while studying at least one book of every genre in the Bible. 3. Student will be called to a deeper intimacy with God, getting to know more of his character and becoming more like Christ. 4. Students will be trained to share the Bible in many different ways, (creative and academic) in small groups of biblical studies, preaching and teaching. As well as in evangelism by sharing the word of God to non believers. 5. Students will have quite time with the Lord and also time to processe the lectures and assignments, this is important for their growth and intimacy with the Lord.

This DTS is a full time, live learn school where it serves to gather and challenge people to listen to and obey God, whilst releasing them to serve through evangelism, intercession and other expressions of God’s heart for the world. Students are challenged to grow in their relationship with God as they learn from the DTS Curriculum, resulting in Christ like character. There is personal application of Biblical truth, while being equipped to live and relate to others, both in YWAM and outside of it. It consists of 12 weeks of lectures and 8 weeks of practical field assignment, in accordance with UofN DTS Guidelines.

Each student is required to write a paper under the guidance of an advisor. This course meets the U of N Core Curriculum requirement for Applied Christian Thinking.
