This three-month practicum is designed for students who have completed Advanced Family Studies (FAM 351) and the Field Assignment, and who desire further experience and mentoring in this area. The goal of the practicum is to allow students to apply the knowledge and skills obtained in the Advanced Family Studies School, and to familiarize them with a broad spectrum of opportunities for serving and helping families through service with ministry to families. Typical activities include: family discipleship, mobilizing for missions, child and youth evangelism, and ministries with families and young people. The emphasis is on gaining expertise through practical ministry involvement.
