CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR FIELD ASSIGNMENT (HLC 176)
Prerequisites:
Credits: 1 - 6
Students will go to service locations in both urban and rural settings, with opportunities to participate in teaching women and families via group seminars and individual tutoring. Students will experience various teaching styles, will learn about the local culture and understanding of childbearing and how to address key mother and child health issues in the community.
