MATERNAL HEALTH EDUCATORS COURSE (HLC 171)

Prerequisites:
Credits: 1 - 6

This seminar is designed to give local Christian indigenous women understanding of mother and child health issues in developing nations and in needy communities. The course will train and encourage women to practice maternal health in their community, being able to teach and establish an antenatal clinic, perform child weighing for children under five, understand and refer the danger problems in pregnancy and/or enhance any existing health service within the community.
