"A people that does not know its history is fated to repeat it". (Edmund Burke) There are beauties and wounds in the history of the Brazilian people, but when we look at our past, as difficult as it may be, there will be hope for the present and the future. In order to provide a brief overview on: the history of the formation of the Brazilian people, the importance of orality in the perpetuation of what we are, our rhythms, dances, celebrations and folklore; this seminar aims to bring the perspective of adoption (Ephesians 1.5) and belonging as Brazilians, generating response in our mandate and cultural actions and cultivating and sharing stories as preciosity- (Isaiah 45. 8)
