INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNICATION & CROSS-CULTURAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP (CMC 288)

Credits: 1 - 12

The purpose of the internship is to give students the opportunity to experience and apply the content of the lecture phase in a practical way, exercising creativity together with the Creator in story telling ways; The outreach will be in places with little or no knowledge of Christ. They will make a short film or documentaries with the participation of the local community, preferably in the local language. The goal of the outreach phase is to give the student the opportunity to use this powerful tool of media to make God known amongst the cultures, in their own languages giving them a voice; The students will also have the opportunity to participate in cinematography productions of a local film-makers to encourage them to be more involved in this sphere of society.
