Prerequisites:
Credits: 1 - 12

YWAM affirms the ministry of hospitality as an expression of God’s character and the value of people. We believe it is important to open our hearts, homes and campuses to serve and honor one another, our guests and the poor and needy, not as acts of social protocol, but as expressions of generosity.” Value 17. In the seminar hospitality from a Biblical foundation will be explored. Hospitality is about aligning ourselves with God's heart for others. Why do we value Hospitality in YWAM? What does Hospitality look like cross-culturally? How do we prepare for a guest speaker? How to integrate Hospitality within an event? These are some of the questions that are addressed in a seminar. There can also be an optional practicum where students will apply all they have learned through facilitating a series of hospitality expressions during existing events and hospitality ministries.
