The Arts Internship is a three month course that will enable interns to use the creative arts to serve the major cities of the world. The focus is not only to train the interns in their art areas, but rather to combine the arts with faith in God, in a way that enables them in a missional way to touch the hearts of those who witness their arts in action. This time includes practical, hands-on instruction and one-to-one discipling, as well as several weeks of outreach. Interns will live the life of a missionary in the arts. The different tracks that are available in the internship are dance, drama, fashion, fine arts, barista, body art, creative writing, music, and media/photography. All of the artists work together in their different tracks to create one innovative production to be performed or displayed during the outreach phase. A typical day in the Arts Internship could include a morning devotional, practice in the art tracks, work duties, family time, spiritual teaching, and working on the production for outreach. Interns will learn about prophetic art, art as evangelism, spiritual warfare, using artistic gifts for God, and other topics. This course is not limited to those who have graduated from a DTS.
