YWAM Ships utilize oceangoing vessels for evangelism and for discipling the nations by facilitating various ministries in port cities and island communities. There is a growing and constant need for qualified individuals to operate these vessels, and this course is being run to meet that need by training individuals with necessary skills in Navigation and Seamanship. – It is designed to take someone with little or no knowledge in navigation and seamanship to a level of competence with the unique opportunity to obtain qualifications in the international maritime industry. – As they learn technical skills, students also learn to apply Biblical principles to all aspects of navigation and seamanship.
