Emergency Medical Technician Ceritfication Seminar

YWAM's Disaster Management and Urban Health Care-Emergency Medical Technician course is an exciting and full program lasting 6 weeks where students will be trained to teach First Aid & CPR/AED and be trained as Emergency Medical Technicians. At the end of this 6 week seminar students will be eligible to take the NAEMT exam and become certified EMT's. This 6 week seminar is part of a series totalling 24 weeks that will provide a wonderfut time for learning a multiplicity of health care topics and hands on skills that will qualifiy the graduates not only for the mission field but also for service in the health care industry. Most importantly it will give students the capacity to pioneer projects leading to healthy individuals and communities wherever they live. Students will become proficient Health Educators and Advocates, using their knowledge in partnership with other agencies to bring transformation to the cities of the world.
