The second section of this "Heart Connections Counseling Model" focuses on counseling techniques and strategies dealing with the process of change based on diagnosis and treatment. During the practicum included in this four week seminar, primary emphasis will be given to skill teaching. There will be an introduction to supervised counseling with emphasis on conceptualizing problems according to the model taught in . Individual counseling and critiquing of taped sessions will also be a part of the course.
