APOLOGETICS SEMINAR (CHR 123)

Credits: 1 - 6

This course is designed to give students a thorough understanding about Christian faith and how to share the Gospel of Jesus among different worldviews and helping them to reach out the pluralist context for Jesus, with the credibility of his Gospel, But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, (1Peter 3:15 ESV) and To communicate the Gospel with the Thinkers. Opinion makers, skeptic and people of non-Christian religions. And equipping them in apologetics and allowing them to think and reason, what they believe and how they believe. The heart of the school is that to defend about the truth, that is Jesus Christ is Son of God and the Bible is the Word of God. And it’s not only through words but also through action which is living it out. This course will enable the students to think critically, and get the understanding on how to communicate the Gospel effectively to others. Students also have opportunities to be involved in different Religious studies what their belief about Life, Death, Salvation, God and Eternity. The course will have book reading reports the Authors named C.S Lewis, Norman L Geiseler, Ravi Zacharias Lee Strobel etc.. This is a four weeks of seminar course.
