FOUNDATIONS FOR FAMILY STUDIES PRACTICUM (FAM 253)

Prequisites: FAM251 & 252
Credits: 1 - 12

The goal of the practicum is to allow students opportunity to further apply the knowledge and skills obtained in the Foundations for Family Studies lecture phase and field assignment and to introduce them to a broad spectrum of opportunities for serving and helping families. Typical activities include: family discipleship, mobilizing for missions, child and youth evangelism, and ministries with families and young people. The emphasis is on gaining expertise through practical ministry involvement.
