The School of Strategic Communication consists of eight lecture weeks with morning and afternoon sessions taught by visiting experts in marketing, research, creative communication, and identity, and four weeks of practical projects. The students work both individually and in groups to create comprehensive communication campaigns that will influence their selected audience and enact positive response. Topics Include: The prophetic role of communicators in society, Identity, Innovation, methods of research, The marketing mix, project management, and branding. After the school, students that have excelled are qualified for a 12-week internship at an organisation that will give them a real opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills they acquired during the school in the market place. The goal of The School of Strategic Communication internship is to give students an opportunity to practice how to be change agents who move their target audience to a new understanding and course of action in a specific area.
