COLLEGE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY
Canoe construction is taught to enable villages to have access to sea fishing in order to provide food (protein) and income for families and transport upon the waters. This course was started because the art of canoe carving had faded away with the passing generations leaving the current ones with no idea on how to make their own. This seminar enables anyone (women, men, young people) to build canoes from plywood that are readily available in local villages.
No upcoming course dates.
