MEDIA ADVOCACY (CMC 271)

Prequisites: DSP 211 & 212
Credits: 11 - 12

These schools equip students to develop media campaigns serving as catalysts for pioneering works around the world with the aim of providing a “voice for the voiceless” through prayer, advocacy, education and action. A primary desired outcome is increased engagement in prayer and action on behalf of abused women and children worldwide. The Photo Advocacy School and the Video Advocacy school focus on using different media towards the same goals. Upon completion of CMC272, opportunity for practical application of skills learned continues throughout the CMC272 Media Advocacy Field Assignment.
