The Food, Energy, Water and Shelter (FEWS) course is designed to equip participants with an integrated perspective of “sustainable technology” principles and concepts as they pertain to partnering with developing world communities toward increasing their access to food security, safe and abundant water sources, secure and healthy housing, and the reduction of household “energy poverty”. This course embraces practical insights into how sustainable technology (small scale, incorporating local resources, championing community leadership and participation) can be utilized as a way to build kingdom oriented relationship with families and communities in the developing world. Sustainable Technology creates a tangible platform to partner together with people who are open toward developing creative solutions for their basic needs, empowering them to improve their quality of life, and revealing God’s goodness to His people.
